kerry candidacy suffers crushing blow
kerry has held opposing positions on practically every political issue this election cycle. but there was one issue–one issue–about which he was steadfast and immovable! he desired that christopher reeve walk again. he mentioned this central campaign theme in the 2nd debate with president bush–and good thing he mentioned it–because […]
Bush Stacks Up Well
From The Herald Sun (Durham, NC) January 20, 2004, page A8:
Liberals claim President Bush shouldn’t have started this war. They complain about his prosecution of it. One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst president in U.S. history.
Let’s clear up one point: We didn’t start the war on terror. Try to remember, it was started […]
Coalition of the Bribed
John Kerry has referred to the coalition in Iraq as “the bribed, the coerced, the bought and the extorted.” Like most everything foolish that he says, nothing could be farther from the truth. His derogatory phrase more aptly applies to those who opposed the Iraq War and were on the take from Saddam, […]
google does it again
do you think it’s outrageous to pay $0.75 every time you need a phone number? so does google.
do you ever hesitate when you’re shopping because you want to check prices online first? google understands.
are you tired of lugging that heavy dictionary around, everywhere you go? google is, too. also, […]
Lock Criminals Up and Crime Rates Decline
The title of this entry should be obvious to anyone with a functioning cerebral cortex. Unfortunately, this part of the body was severely damaged during birth for most liberals.
As has been widely reported, the crime rate around the country is at a thirty year low.
Attorney General John Ashcroft attributed the drop to the work […]
“death to clear channel”
finally, howard stern says something i can agree with. clear channel has ruined american radio, by monopolizing markets and narrowing the scope of songs that get airplay.
but i dislike howard stern. he has a popular show because he is willing to be perverted. on free radio, he was already a […]
cheney/edwards: work horse vs. show horse
funny, i turned on CNN’s morning show today, and the big news wasn’t that vice president cheney ripped senator “gone” a new poohole in the vice presidential debate last night. no, the big news was film of edwards and cheney at the same prayer breakfast a couple of years ago.
ah HA! […]

The first four comments get the invites. Good luck!
other takes on bush-kerry I
these are just some reflections from last thursday night that i shared with someone else, and i thought i’d blog them now. for hard-hitting analysis and in-depth reporting, check out doug’s posts on the debate [here] or [here]
1. john kerry, who at the beginning of last week transformed himself into an orange oompa loompa […]
this summer, the church of jesus christ of latter day saints lost two beloved apostles. [link] many began speculating about who would be called to fill their shoes. one site had a poll [link].
i visited this site in the middle of august, over six weeks ago. however, i […]
More on The First Debate
Briant posted a great comment on my recent debate post, bringing up an issue I thought would be more appropriate to address here, since it lets me flesh out my opinion on the matter…
from Briant’s comment:“…Kerry won the debate. he was more calm and collected, more articulate…”
This part of the comment goes to the heart […]
John Kerry Steals Our Material!
Kerry’s position on Iraq has changed quite a bit. He was for the war, against funding it, for it, against it, sort-of for it, totally against it. There is only one term that can accuractely describe his position: all-encompassingly.
Bush Wins Debate
Cliff Kincaid at Accuracy in Media has a roundup of some poll questions USA Today asked registered voters who watched the debate. My interpretation of the data is the same: Bush won the debate.
