The page is the handiwork of 34-year-old Anthony Cox, a pharmacist in Birmingham, England. Cox said in an e-mail that the page he created before the Iraq war was a "niche in-joke" until it got so widely linked; now it draws 2.5 million daily visits.
"These are pretty dark days," Cox said. "I just hope it made some people laugh."
