protesters with issues (UPDATED)

feel really strongly about something that nobody else cares about?

try protesting!

the hippie man in this picture claims to have friends at haliburton and bechtel. frankly, i think there is a better chance that the woman in the foreground's wish comes true (and dennis kucinich is elected president) than this dope-smoking deadbeat even knows an employed person.

that picture is from saturday's protest in SLC, utah, which (i'll go out on a limb here) was probably a little more tame than the SF protest.

for excellent photo coverage of the protests in san francisco check out: http://users.lmi.net/zombie/sf_rally_march_20_2004/. hat tip: DANEgerus

here are two of the more heartwarming signs from the san francisco event. can you pick out the anti-american sentiment?

UPDATE:

predictably (as peace protests go) the ones in NYC turned ugly as protesters rushed and trampled an elderly woman. she had to be taken to the hospital. [link]

What a bunch of pathetic losers...Obviously someone at the government trough...and a scum sucking Democrat to boot.

The fact that wackos exist is understandable. However, in my mind it's an unpardonable crime that the elite media doesn't report nor emphasize the agenda of these people.
