another jihad rut

members of the religion of peace have added another element to the 'daily grind' of terrorism, to be joked about around the jihad water cooler. that is:

kidnapping!

jihadis! they just keep inventing new and exciting ways to terrorize people! having, perhaps, grown tired of their most well-known method they have moved on. [link] some more moderate muslim clerics are calling for a 'cease-kidnapping' of sorts...to coin a phrase.

a 'cease-kidnapping'.

here's a list of the current/former captives to date:

2 malaysians, 1 indonesian (not in iraq)
3 japanese
1 french
4 italians (1 confirmed executed)
7 south koreans
1 palestinian, 1 canadian
1 american
1 british
2 czechs
3 Pakistanis, 2 Turks, 1 Indian, 1 Nepalese and 1 Filipino
7 chinese
11 russians

and that's not all! don't forget
countless iraqi women and children

we at all-encompassingly plead with members of the religion of peace to release all your hostages immediately. if this puts you out of work, you could always go back to setting oil wells on fire. that was a pretty good rut you were in, too.

This is really getting annoying. The worst thing about it is that whenever we do anything to "retaliate" against aggression of this kind many want to make the U.S. out to be the evil doers. Did you see the pictures in the new 2 weeks ago from Fallujah? After some of the people there fired on civilian contractors and burned their car they dismembered two of the bodies and hung the others on the bridge. (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/photo/world/G38422-2004Mar31.html) note: these images are very graphic.
I feel that so much of the problem is mob mentality. If there were not people to start yelling, "kill americans," probably nobody would have even bothered to notice them. So many people, and not in just this part of the world, just jump on the nearest ban wagon that tells them who to blame for their problems. Sounds a little like something that happened back in the 30's and 40's to me in a little european country that starts with ger and ends in many.
