Comments on: avoid USsearch.com if you actually want to find people

I have a 68 year old half brother, who by family has heard from only a couple of times in the past 55 years, and out of nowhere he shows up at my elderly parents home a couple of weeks ago and is now calling them several times a week. He may just be trying to make up for a lifetime of ignoring our mother and allowing himself to be dominated by his father’s family, but he is a very smooth talker and since no one in my family knows this guy I would like to find out as much about him as I can in an effort to protect my parents. Is there a website out there that is trust worthy and can actually deliver acurate information on someone? As far as I can tell USSearch is the only online Background Search business that is BBB certified. It shocks me that they can have an A+ certification from the BBB and have such a poor performance record. Please help if you can.

I just paid for a detailed report! What a SCAM!!!! All I got was the address which I already knew, criminal records supposedly checked…. no phone number, no relatives, no past addresses. I’ve just been ripped off and that will be a good lesson I won’t forget.

I used ussearch too ,i did a reverse phone number check on my own phone number and they couldn’t even get that right!Thet gave a a person living 50 miles from me with a different name!When informed them they said they used the wrong are code by mistake.I then did a second check and it was also the wrong person.

I found out if I want my phone number online I have to pay 35.00 to these crooks. If I was lying in the gutter unconscious in need of help and someone needed to call my wife, kids, and had a blackberry they would need my credit card too, and as poor as we are it would get denied too.
