the people have spoken, and in 3 weeks of grueling partisanship and manipulation regarding our poll, we have come to a conclusion we can call a…”conclusion”. blogging is definitely proof of a new cultural renaissance of sorts, chosen by over 40% of voters (14 of 32 total votes). this choice was not a joke, like the choices we usually give you. neither was it really an answer to the question posed, “why is blogging becoming so popular?” it doesn’t directly answer the question, you’ll notice, but i decided to include it anyway.
in high crimes and misdemeanors, ann coulter disses the lying clinton white house, saying, “truth is what separates us from the cave.” well, she is right. bubba was a lying sleezebag. lying, as clinton did, when he needed to get out of a jam, violates the categorical imperative (”act only according to that maxim whereby you can at the same time will that it should become a universal law”). see, that’s just dumb! and we haven’t even talked about his (a) telling people to lie for him or his (b) lying under oath, which he also did, and which must be even worse. kant would be rolling over in his grave.
oops. what were we talking about?
i feel that cool stuff like blogging separates us from the cave, too. whether or not it can actually be called a new cultural renaissance, it is at least sophisticated and progressive.
thank you for voting. now vote against the evil instapundit in our new poll.
indeed.

Hi!
Ask me about the problems with Kant’s Categorical Imperative and the false positives and false negatives that it produces.
Ciao!
