Boise State 43, Oklahoma 42 – Video
Perhaps the funnest football game I have ever watched.
Great swings in momentum. A hook-and-ladder style gimmick play to get to overtime. A halfback pass to score in overtime. A statue of liberty to win. And the underdog triumphed.
What more can you ask for?
Update: Video…

coach was nuts. that’s so high school. I’ve never seen that stuff in D-1.
neither had the most arrogant athletic department in NCAA D1, the oklahoma sooners’.
Chung: I know, it was crazy. I think more schools might try stuff like that now…hopefully!
Travis: Yeah. I loved Ian Johnson’s comments at the end, about how Oklahoma treated them like a younger brother until the very end…when the lost. Snap!
Doug,
Thanks for posting the video. I got to watch all the coolest parts of the game and only used up 3 min of spectator energy. That’s the way I should watch football!
what would that be in joules?
Doug,
Props for posting the highlights for the game. Couldn’t find them on ESPN or anywhere else.
[...] It was a great game. I haven’t had this much fun watching Oklahoma play since about January 1, 2007. [...]
