first, there were your contradictory words and actions in response to your arrest for an attempted sex romp in a public bathroom.
now, you announce your “intent to resign” your senate office effective september 30th, but because of a misdialed phone number just minutes before making the public announcement, you leave a message that betrays your real intent: to delay your resignation so you can gather support and stay in office. here is that audio:
normally (if your truthfulness in your resignation speech was being litigated), it would be nearly impossible to prove you did not have the intent you claimed to have at the time you made your “intent to resign” announcement. but because of your voicemail message, proving you lied about your intent would be open and shut. that is how screwed you are.
bumbling, duplicitous larry craig. you are everything we hoped our politicians were not.
please retire from public life and do not make any more sanctimonious announcements full of lies (e.g., “i do not not intend to resign. i never have not intended to resign.”)
