CNN: Mostly fluff, most of the time
When CNN is not busy pushing Islamist propaganda, they are doing their best trying to become the People magazine of online news.
A Daily Kos contributor stripped the CNN homepage of all advertising, promotional items, sensational non-news, and gossip. Here is the result, a nearly empty page:
Sad, but not unexpected I suppose.
[editor: as an interesting aside, the Daily Kos contributor entitled the article "Screw CNN", perhaps taking a page from the "screw them" playbook]

Yeah, I’m starting to be very bothered by CNN’s website and overall coverage. I don’t see them as traitors for airing the sniper video, but I am very troubled and disturbed by their continual coverage of violence (along with all the other MSM television stations). America is getting desensitized to violence, to such a point that they are willing to accept torture as a tool. That’s pretty reprehensible
yeah, and CNN must be pretty pervasive in the muslim world, since they now accept cutting innocent people’s heads off as a tool.
CNN’s coverage of violence has little to do with americans’ willingness to accept torture as a tool. unless, of course, you’re talking about CNN’s coverage of terrorists flying jets into US skyscrapers and their broadcasting of videotaped muslim threats calling for america’s destruction.
CNN and the rest of the american MSM should stop showing us what radical muslims are saying and doing! then we could all just feel warm and fuzzy toward them like dan wants.
I actually found the recent story about the giant catfish very relevant to my life. (heavy sarcasm)

Did you all see that one? Or yes, the countless other bizarre things that are on there now. This reminds me of the Discovery channel. It used to represent National Geographic-esque programming. Seriously, if you turn it on now….sometimes, there are old fat tattooed men working on motorcycles or other bizarre irrelevant programming.
Just silly to see such pitiful content on “reputable” content providers.
