Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, Dead
I guess I kind of expected this eventually, but it is still really sad.
THE Crocodile Man, Steve Irwin, is dead.
He was killed in a freak accident in Cairns, police sources said.
It appeared that he was killed by a sting-ray barb that went through his chest, Queensland Police Inspector Russell Rhodes said.
He was swimming off the Low Isles at Port Douglas filming an underwater documentary and that’s when it occurred.

He seemed invincible. However, sad indeed.
“The Crocodile Hunter Preserve” & Protect Wildlife and
“The Crocodile Hunter Conserve Natures Wonders!” are created by master graphic artist, designer and naturalist, Terry Lynch, In Memorium to Steve Irwin, conservationist, wildlife expert and videographer. See http://www.cafepress.com/bytelandart/1801793
Steve Irwin died Sept. 1, 2006 when he was stung by a bull stingray while filming at Batt Reef off the northeast coast of Queensland, Australia.
This special tribute of a bull stingray drifts over a heavenly light in reminder that Steve Irwin died doing what he loved and that it would be his dying wish to continue to conserve, preserve and protect nature and wildlife.
my favorite, terry, has to be your memorial thong: http://www.cafepress.com/cp/prod.aspx?p=bytelandart.73547781
i mean, few things say “respect for the dead” better than a memorial undergarment.
A great man, a hero to all, Steve Irwin! The legend!
