I sincerely wish Congress had the guts to impeach Bush. He deserves it for one thing - and the other is that we’ll never get to the bottom of Bush’s Blunder in Iraq without full blown hearings. We’ve got time to do it - remember, Clinton was impeached in the third year of his second term, too. Get this straight - the Blunder in Iraq is not similar to World War II - it’s more like the Spanish American War except the Bush Administration botched this one. That said, you can call the Iraq Study Group ’surrender monkeys’ or whatever - but I call the Bush administration the ‘Loser Chimps.’ What a bunch of inept, incompetent, indecisive military idiots. If it weren’t for George W. Bush I would have considered Jimmy Carter the Worst President in History.

Just read your new comment policy. How sad that you’re justifying taking an unprincipled stance on issues because it’s your blog and you can do what you want. Your justification for criticizing one group/party while ignoring another was particularly weak.
You expect logic, reason, self-censorship and even politeness from your commenters yet promise none of those in return (cuz after all, it’s your blog and you’re most likely smarter than me). This blog could be so much more if you would just let it be. You could be so much more.

gosh, its a wonder why we would ever need a comment policy, given such model behavior! and this is just one (albeit pitiful) example.
i almost moved from athens, ga a few counties over 2 years ago just so that i could live in mckinny’s district. i’m all about ufo’s. she was the only one who understood the true threat.

Bill, Bill, Bill … took a trip down The Peasantville Blog and I found little other than Bush bashing there, oh yea, I also noticed there were no comments posted in the last few months (couldn’t stomach going back any more). I see why you need to trash the blogs of others though; you must be lonely and in need of communicating with real live human beings. Well, you obviously have a questionable connection with reality, so here is some advice for you. Get a life and start taking your medication again; it could save you from aggravating your ulcers any more. By the way, the post was about the radical racist Cynthia McKinney and our bidding her a fond ado and a good riddance.

Did anyone notice this one? I just picked it out at random. McKinney mentions the Americans on 9/11 who were “needlessly murdered”. The outrage! They were murdered needlessly! The murders were completely unnecessary!

i do not know bill or michelle. i found michelle’s comment offensive, so i could have removed it or (although i disagree with it) left it there. i thought bill had a mature response, so i left the whole exchange there.
