deal –verb (used without object) 2.	to take action with respect to a thing or person (fol. by with): Law courts must deal with lawbreakers. [source: dictionary.com

under any plain definition of "deal", dennis miller "dealt" with the conspiracy theorist. but whether you think "to deal" in this case means to provide an exceptionally funny joke or thoroughly researched point-by-point refutation, the "we bombed ourselves on 9-11" theory doesn't any of that. it is hardly even a rational idea: people like rosie o'donnell have made it into some baseless political rallying cry (see also, "HALLIBURTON!!!!").

that said, i thought miller's response was pretty funny. he turned the guy's own prop (the headband) against him to make a joke.

plus, dennis was justified doing whatever he wanted. the caller was just trying to plug some website, not have a real discussion.

Dennis "deals" with conspiracy theory? At what point?
Since when is telling someone that he has a tight headband either an insightful or comical rejoinder?

If you want to plug Dennis Miller, may I suggest a better clip and the headline: "Plug for Dennis Miller"?
