if only HUMANS could love this much….

there is a story from china about a bird loving a monkey or vice versa. the monkey was abandoned and was rescued (by humans), but still struggled until he befriended a pigeon.

below the story are some really silly comments:

We humans could learn a little something from this unlikely twosome: Tolerance, unconditional love, and respect for someone or something that very different than us.

A lesson for the world.

- Sonny, USA

Another beautiful story. As I always say, if only humans could be so kind and loving towards one another and take the examples of these beautiful animals, we would be in a much more pleasant state of living than we are now!

- A.J., Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, USA

please. if you “our civilization is half-empty” people didn’t notice, humans can be this loving! in fact, it was humans who actually rescued the monkey (and presumably the pigeon, too) in the first place.

humans adopt the children of other humans. humans fix the cleft palates of other humans. humans feed and clothe and protect and teach other humans. humans even rescue abandoned animals.

yes, there are mean humans. but there are mean, nasty animals, too. and if you watch the discovery channel occasionally, you’ll probably see some of them. they’re eating the others.

    hahahahahahaha

They think we don’t help other humans. That’s my whole business, or rather, service. I help people. And now that I’m a member of The Human Fund, I help people help other people. That’s what we’re all about. So join now to help the cause of The Human Fund.
