Yeah. It totally reminds me of what you’ve said before Doug, that the US is fascinated with white girl crime. Jon Benet, Elizabeth Smart, Natalie Holloway, etc…
Of course they deserve attention, but other kidnappings happen and its bizarre how these kinds of things turn into a media circus.
Strangely enough, add Michael Jackson to the list of people that cause media frenzies.
