John McCain hates black people everyone.

From Florida yesterday…
Obama, an Illinois senator, canceled a visit to eastern Iowa last week at the request of state officials and instead went to fill sandbags in Quincy, Ill. McCain, an Arizona senator, toured flood damage in Iowa Thursday.
“I know that Sen. McCain felt as strongly as I did,” Obama said, “feeling enormous sympathy for the victims of the recent flooding. I’m sure they appreciated the sentiment, but they probably would have appreciated it even more if Sen. McCain hadn’t opposed legislation to fund levees and flood control programs, which he considers pork.”
Translation: “John McCain wants you to drown.”
Now… This is a new politics we can believe in!

Wait, what? Obama mentions that Iowans would have liked more levee funding, and that McCain voted against said funding, and that translates into an accusation that McCain wants everyone to drown?
Obama has an ideology (with which I disagree) that Kentuckians (and the rest of the country) should somehow be involved in protecting Iowans’ private property. Seems perfectly fair to point out how he and McCain differ politically in that respect, and even conjecture as to what Iowans prefer. Nowhere does he indicate that McCain hates Iowans–to the contrary he credits him (albeit inaccurately) with enourmaous sympathy.
