Lawyers: Generally Just Annoying
[T]he most successful lawyers tend to be far more skeptical than other professionals. That makes for good litigators but less successful mentors and managers. They are often intense and impulsive, which can move a case along nicely but also make the lawyer brusque in conversations, a poor listener or just generally annoying. They often score low for sociability as a consequence, so they tend to have a harder time initiating new relationships.

Chicken/egg question: Do these crazy types choose the profession, or does their training make them the way they are? (and by they, of course, I mean me)

Do annoying lawyers choose to blog, or do blogger types become annoying lawyers?
Well I have always kind of found you to be a little much, so I’m sure you’ll make a great lawyer!!! haha!
So if those are the characteristics of a successful lawyer, maybe you should look into some sort of supplemental income, like window washing. Or… maybe you’re just not annoying to me, because I too am annoying and should turn to law as my own profession…
