Letting out murderers because they shout ‘Jesus’
This comes as no surprise, but the Democrats are hoping that the Huckaboom doesn’t turn into a Huckabeen any time soon.
From Drudge:
The Democratic National Committee has told staffers to hold all fire, until he secures the party’s nomination.
The directive has come down from the highest levels within the party, according to a top source.
Within the DNC, Huckabee is known as the “glass jaw — and they’re just waiting to break it.”
…
“He’ll easily be their McGovern, an easy kill,” mocked one senior Democrat operative Tuesday morning from Washington.
“His letting out murderers because they shout ‘Jesus’, his wanting to put 300,000 AIDS patients and Magic Johnson into isolation, ain’t even scratching the surface of what we’ve got on him.”
Huckabee is neck deep in years of his own do-gooder doo-doo.
George Will hit the nail on the head earlier this month:
On the Republican side, Mike Huckabee’s candidacy rests on serial non sequiturs: I am a Christian, therefore I am a conservative, therefore whatever I have done or propose to do with “compassionate,” meaning enlarged, government is conservatism. And by the way, anything I denote as a “moral” issue is beyond debate other than by the uncaring forces of greed.
And then there are videos like this:
Yes, like the beautiful miracles of the New Testament, the surge of Mike Huckabee in the polls is the will of God and due to the faith of Mike’s followers.
Geez…

I’m curious, if God is responsible for his success, who will be responsible if he fails?
Wow. Does this mean that God is going to vote for him? I like that he’s religious, but this is a bit too much.
Really bizarre. No admission of hope that things turn out well with the chance of not winning. Simply a bold declaration that God is fueling his candidacy at this point…
Why is this the first time I have seen this video???!!! About two weeks ago Huckabee was on Hardball and was asked if he believed the hand of God was on his campaign and he clearly said NO–that his running for president was not a mission from God or something. Chris Matthews said “very good” and they moved on to something else. But that is exactly what this video is saying. Why hasn’t this video been played on all the news stations?
