Mark Steyn
If there are any all-encompassingly readers who do not regularly frequent marksteyn.com, add it to your list of “must-read” sites today. Not only is he hilarious and brilliant, but his incisive commentary is right on the money.
My favorite from a recent Steyn column on the election:
On election day, I was driving through Vermont and found myself behind a car with a Kerry-Edwards sticker and an Instead of Being Born Again, Why Not Grow Up? sticker. Fair enough, the feeling’s mutual: the secular, coastal, libertine Democratic Party has zero appeal to born-again Christians. The problem is the crude numbers: 40 per cent of Americans identify themselves as born-again. So right there you’ve written off 40 per cent of the electorate. What have you got in return? The gay vote? Five per cent? And Bush got a quarter of that.
So, go visit Steyn’s site…and visit often. You won’t be disappointed.

I read it and it was good. Now it begs the question, is the Democratic Party going to survive? Will they adjust and change? The worst case scenario is they don’t and in the long run, cease to be.
Alright already, that’s enough advice for the left
Well, ok, how ’bout one more. Courtesy of all-encompassingly, a new favorite of mine in the blogosphere, I’ve stumbled across a great conservative writer, Mark Steyn. His recent election debriefing in The Australian is hilarious as well as insightful…
Argh!! Mark Steyn is on hiatus, and I’m lost without him! Hope his personal and family concerns work out well, and soon. Don’t think I’ll be the only one missing him, either…. *sigh*
Oh the absolute rapture brought into our home by Mr Steyn.
from his first appearance in western standard to the national post to the conrad black trail of the trial there are acutual physical scenes on who gets to read first and a great great tool to teach our children on proper non partisan reporting and how to decide what is CBC Pap and Yellow Journalism.I can only remember my 7 year old daughters indigination being told by her rhodes scholar mother that Pierre Trudeau was all b**ullsh**it and how all the lonely women swooned over him.Question:Was his Conrad Black Blog discontinued in McLeans because of american political pressure?
I’m not sure about his blog.
I’d check out Mark Steyn’s site.
Trust an Aussie to get right down to the point!
