Nobel Peace Winner: “I wanna kill Bush”
Why exert effort and try to convince the public that the Nobel Peace Prize is a yearly award for left-wing nutjobs? Let’s just let the Prize winners talk!
Nobel peace laureate Betty Williams displayed a flash of her feisty Irish spirit yesterday, lashing out at US President George W.Bush during a speech to hundreds of schoolchildren.

“I have a very hard time with this word ‘non-violence’, because I don’t believe that I am non-violent,” said Ms Williams, 64.
“Right now, I would love to kill George Bush.” Her young audience at the Brisbane City Hall clapped and cheered.
And these people think Bush is crazy?

I’d recommend that readers click on the link and read the full article. I think the world would be a better place if we had more “nut-jobs” like this woman.
Why would a Nobel Peace Prize winner make such a hyperbolic statement (and yes, it is hyperbole for the more dim-witted out there)? That might be anyone’s first question. Well, anyone but doug.
Pacifists like this would like to see groups like the IRA go unpunished because children or other innocents get caught in the “cross-fire.”
This sounds as silly as a crazy anti-border patrol woman I saw interviewed talk about Border Patrol cars kicking up dust that had reportedly agitated children’s asthma in nearby towns.
Putting short term (but warm-fuzzy) goals first only gets you that far. And then you have to deal with the same or a bigger problem.

Often as a young rambunctious child, I heard my mother say, “You make me so angry I could just shoot you.†This from a woman from whom I’ve never heard a swear word. Do you suppose she actually wanted to grab the 20 gauge and blow me away? Hardly!
Please don’t do it Ms. Williams. Then we’d have spawn of Satan, I mean Dick Cheney in charge.

Your mother talking to you.
Nobel Prize winner talking publicly about a National Leader.
Real difference:
“National Leader” doesn’t really describe Bush. Try menace to society.
