Obama Goes Radioactive
Are the American people ready for an elected president who was educated in a Madrassa as a young boy and has not been forthcoming about his Muslim heritage?
This is the question Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s camp is asking about Sen. Barack Obama.
If this pans out, I can’t imagine this guy has a prayer (no pun intended) of being president.
The fact he went to a madrassa isn’t such a big deal. But that this is coming out now rather than, say, during his senate campaign, is puzzling. Is he that ashamed of his Muslim education? Or, perhaps he knows that a lot of people would disqualify him if they found out that he had attended a madrassa.
Either way, this may put the damper on Obama-mania.
Update: A commenter on Sweetness & Light mentions the ever elusive FBI files. I have a feeling that it is going to be an interesting campaign…especially on the Democratic side.
Update II: CNN says it’s not a madrassa.

Also interesting that Hillary was the one who found all this.
Why is it that Hillary (or her comrades) could unearth this kind of information, yet she couldn’t find a box of files in her own [White] house?

1988 Gore Campaign–They find info regarding a Massachusetts convicted murderer was let out on furlough and murders again. Lee Atwater would get this info and run with it in the general election.
If those two lightweights could get info to damage or destroy their political rivals, Hillary’s probably have a veritable nuclear stockpile ready to go. I almost feel sorry for Obama…almost.
