Pat Tillman: Sportsman of the Year
From little green footballs:
Sports Illustrated is running its annual fan poll for Sportsman of the Year, and Pat Tillman, who was killed fighting in Afghanistan after walking away from a multi-million dollar contract to join the Army after September 11, is in the running. I say this as a huge cycling fan, in a year when Lance Armstrong won his sixth Tour de France—but Pat Tillman deserves this award more than anyone else. His sacrifice shows what true sportsmanship is all about. (Hat tip: Al di Grandpa.)
Make sure to go vote.
Note: The voting page will automatically load a certain athlete, so you’ll need to select Tillman from the athletes on the left side of the screen, and then hit “Vote.”

Hey, this comment is completely irrelevant to the posting, but I wanted to comment on the Daily Mitch that was nearby and didn’t know how…sorry. This particular Daily Mitch was about Smacky the Frog, and how frogs are always cool, not mean like bears can be. Now, I read somewhere this week, maybe you did too, about some scary frogs! In B.C. I think! Anyway these imported American bullfrogs are eating ducks and stuff! Wow! Anyway, I love your Daily Mitch, as I am a huge fan. I also love your site, and am glad to see how popular it is, because you guys have a great voice and are doing much good!!! Thanks for everything!
