Facebook is adding election related features.
Facebook have just launched afeature called “Election 2006″, which allows you to search for officecandidates for the Senate, House, and Governorship. The site now has1,600 profile pages for candidates running for House and Senate seats,as well as state governorships in the election this November.

The new section appears under the “election†tab on your Edit Profilepage, and you can also add your support to any politician. What’s more,the new section lets you form groups around campaign issues - some ofthe more notable groups include “Legalize All Drugsâ€â€and “Bye ByeElectoral Collegeâ€.
