rex grossman: 1.3 passer rating
i wrote this post last football season, but never published it because he had a passer rating of zero a few weeks later, and so 1.3 wasn’t even uniquely bad for him anymore. anyway, since i’m cleaning out the old posts, here it is — travis
the QB scores a 1.3 passer rating, but the bears still win. unbelievable.
With the wind chill in single digits, the Bears (10-2) overcame another shaky performance by quarterback Rex Grossman.
shaky? try “disasterous” or “crap.”
Grossman did little to stop the debate of whether he should remain the starter. He was 6 of 19 for 34 yards and he threw three interceptions for the second consecutive week. Grossman has 14 interceptions in his past seven games after throwing three in his first five.
“I never really got anything going, and that is something I need to fix,†said Grossman, whose passer rating was 1.3. It was 0.0 after three quarters.
