The War on Christmas?

This is an old post from last year that I never published.

I will go out on a limb and say that things will be exactly the same this year.

A lot is being said about the “war on Christmas” this year. Stores are not including the word “Christmas” in advertising, school systems call the time off “winter break,” etc, etc.

I think Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit said it best:

I find the whole thing kind of bemusing: Merchants who desperately want people to spend money because it’s Christmas are afraid to say the word, while those who are complaining are basically demanding that we commercialize Christmas more openly.

One Response to “The War on Christmas?”

  1. The fake war. What a racket.
