USpolitical.com (a new blog)
One of my favorite all-encompassingly readers (and commenter!), Ryan, has started a new blog about US political issues.
From a recent article about terrorist attacks, Ryan writes:
I find it extremely naive to presume that military actions in “The Iraqi slaughterhouse, besieged Gaza, wasted Lebanon†somehow account for them. Americans are not slaughtering Iraqis, rather, Iraqis are slaughtering themselves. Gaza is “besieged†by a fed-up Israel that is the victim of suicidal attacks and sworn annihilation. Lebanon is the unfortunate scapegoat for the cowardly Hezbollah that uses the oft utilized tactic of hiding among civilians.

I’m tired of seeing the Hezbollah called “cowards.” I’m not sure what sort of propoganda purposes this is serving, but it is no secret that Israeli military bases are based squarely inside of Israeli civilian areas. Why then aren’t the Israelis called cowards? Apparently Hezbollah fights fiercely against the ground invasion. Doesn’t sound too cowardly to me.
The new blog doesn’t sound too promising.
Ooops. I’m sure Ryan meant “minutemen”, “freedom fighters”, or “patriots”.
My purposes. Ryan’s purposes. And the purposes of the
all-powerful dark lord SauronIsrael lobby.In an effort of full propoganda disclosure, I should note that we also receive funding from the White House, Republican National Committee, ExxonMobile, and Halliburton. In addition, I think USpolitical.com gets a monthly check from the Trilateral Commission and the Crawford, Texas Freemason lodge.
Surely you jest…comparing an Israeli military base to three guys launching rockets out of a neighborhood?
Of course, Israel is the size of New Jersey, so pretty much anywhere would qualify as a civilian area I suppose. Nevertheless, this “non-secret” must make you angry. It means that your boys in Hezbollah have some seriously crappy aim. After all, they’re only aiming at the military bases…right?
The Israelis? Cowards? And what planet have you lived on since 1947?
