Vice President Sarah Palin

Just finished watching Sarah Palin’s rally.

It’s over. It’s done. Pack up. Go home.

McCain/Palin are going to crush Obama/Biden.

Prepare for the inevitable Matthews/Olbermann meltdown on November 4th.

This email to The Corner says it all:

“I have never seen Governor Palin speak before in my life, although I have heard of her. Let me say that this hard core conservative has shed some happy tears during her speech. This is the day that the conservative movement took back control of the GOP and the day that McCain won the election. She IS from a small town, and it shows. We are blessed to have her on the ticket. The other side is looking a very old, tired, and a little cheap.”

And no, Mona, it’s most definitely not just you:

Is it just me or does Sarah Palin seem more genuine than the average pol? Admittedly, I’m strongly prejudiced in her favor because she is the living embodiment of the pro-life cause. But she is also the opposite of the America Obama sketched last night. He wants us all to think of ourselves as broken, beaten, and in need of government help. He caricatures the conservative message as “You’re on your own.” Palin, of Alaska, still carries the spark of the frontier, the independence, and the spunk. I think Americans will identify with her far more than with Senator (been in Washington for 97 years) Biden.

It’s not just you, Mona. It’s the crack you’re smoking. Do Americans think the way you do? Do you think middle America, which works harder than any other people in the world only to see their wages decline, appreciates being told that they’re needy for calling for the government to take action? All while the CEO gets a million-dollar severance package for running his company to the ground.

McCain is perpetuating economic policies identical to Bush’s. Watch Obama hammer him on jobs and income decline and take a chunk out of the Midwest.
