Craig Vows to Stay Despite Court Loss

By CHARLES BABINGTONWASHINGTON (AP) - Idaho Sen. Larry Craig defiantly vowed to serve out his term in office on Thursday despite losing a court attempt to rescind his guilty plea in a men’s room sex sting.
“I have seen that it is possible for me to work here effectively,” Craig said in a written statement.
craig continued, “for example, i will be most effective by avoiding soliciting sex in public restrooms, by avoiding lying about it, then avoiding lying about intending to resign from the senate, etc, etc. i will mainly try to stop all the lying to increase my effectiveness.”
