Yo Quiero Taco Bell
Saw this on Drudge a couple minutes ago.
While perhaps not the most convincing argument for amnesty, threatening the existence of Taco Bell is certainly the most creative I’ve heard so far. ![]()

Oh my gosh let them stay!!
Our achilles heel has been found. Not paving the roads or clipping the golf greens (as Bloomberg hiariously remarked a few weeks back) is one thing, but threatening to withdraw burritos, well, that’s just going too far.
If closing the border means closing, say, Beto’s, I’m not sure I’m on board.
Clever sign. I guess you could say that guy decided to “Think Outside the Bun.”
lol
As a teacher in an inner city school of LA, it has been sooooo disappointing to see so many students walk out of the classroom and participate in these stupid immigration marches. Really….the ones that most need to be IN school and the ones protesting at the stupid rallies. RIDICULOUS! As illegal immigrants, they’re demanding the right to live the American dream, yet ALL my failing grades belong to these latino students and a majority of the time they’re the ones sent to the dean’s office for behavior problems….way to take advantage of the american dream…
ladies and gentlemen, we have a heddie richards sighting!
anyway, the imao people figured out how to get around the dilemma raised by the sign: http://www.imao.us/archives/005340.html
I actually agree with her argument in the post to which you refer. The dollar theater, as this person points out, is hardly a magnet for serious or enlightened folks.. try bookstores or.. I don’t know. I may not be so enlightened
And IA suddenly changed that argument, way back when, to be about whether Provo High students are annoying. That wasn’t the initial implicaton - the implication was that they are stupid. I am TOTALLY annoyed at that deft shift of argument
And for the record, I went to Orem High.
clarifying note: my “heddie richards sighting” remark wasn’t meant to be negative; in fact, i am overjoyed that heddie is alive and well and still reads the blog.
I am overjoyed you are alive and blogging, Trav! Law school keeping you busy, I hope. See you later this summer!

Travis is alive and commenting…not blogging.
